Madeline has had many visitors today and has responded to them well. It has been a very positive day. I can imagine that the highlight of the day was when Joe had his physical therapist take him to see Madeline for the first time.
They also weaned her off of her oxygen for a couple of hours today. Her stats dropped some, but not drastically like before. They plan to do this again tomorrow. Prayerfully, they will soon be able to let her breath on her own.

Madeline, seeing you open those beautiful blue eyes today was so touching. We have been waiting for you to wake up for what seems forever! You even gave us a little smile that warmed our hearts so much. I agree the biggest highlite was when Joe visited you for the first time and held you hand a gave you a kiss! We love you so much Maddie and can't wait for the next blessing from God!
